At long last, and after several requests, we have started a blog. It should be full of exciting adventures, humorous stories, cultural insights, and grammatical errors. If any of these items are not found here, then the blog shall at least keep you updated on the goings on of the Bakers. We hope you enjoy our posts!
I still can't believe that my little baby is 4 months old. It doesn't seem like that much time has passed since she was born. It's even crazier to think that exactly one year prior to her 4 month birthday was when I found out that I was pregnant. Alot has changed in the last year, that is for sure!
Anyway, here is the 4 month update on our Makaila Bean:
Loves to stand and jump, regardless of whether she is in her jumper or in your arms!
Has conversations with anyone who will listen all day long
Takes her longest naps in the morning and takes her time waking up
Loves to smile for mom and laugh for dad
Is super drooly
Is starting to teethe, which makes it hard for her to sleep sometimes
Loves stuffed animals. All stuffed animals. She sees a stuffed animal and wants to give it kisses and chew on it (will even try this with Jack's toys)
Also loves to look at books
Has figured out how to turn around in her play station and has figured out how to play with all the different parts
Gets scared and cries if the adults are too rowdy or loud (especially when playing games)
Has started falling asleep on her own at bedtime, sometimes in the swing and sometimes in the crib but always without being bounced by mom or dad
Enjoys inspecting her hands and fingers and grabbing her toes. She has just started to chew on her toes too
Also likes to hold and inspect other people's hands and fingers
Loves polka dots
Is in the chewy phase...everything goes in the mouth these days
Has rolled from her back to her front once now
Is fascinated with Jack and Tigger. She gets so excited when they come close and she leans way in to try to rub their fur or go nose to nose with them
Loves music. She likes to watch me play the piano and will hit the keys with me
That's all I can think of at the moment. Makaila has quite the little personality and is such a sweetheart. Sometimes she is particular and stubborn (big surprise there!) but mostly she is very sweet and happy. We love our little Bean!
